Chyvon Pala (Amsterdam, February 11, 1995), better known by his stage name Chivv, is a Dutch rapper with Surinamese Roots. At a young age, Chivv began rapping and in 2009, along with childhood friend Henkie T, he formed rap formation SBMG (Sawtu Boys Money Gang). At the age of fifteen, the two already scored hits, and were performing all over the Netherlands. Since 2019, the two have continued solo.
Chivv was involved in other collaborations with artists such as Broederliefde, Jonna Fraser, Dopebwoy and Latifah. Chivv had his first big success with the track “Ja!”, which was a collaboration with Bizzey, Kraantje Pappie and Yung Felix. That track reached number one in the Dutch charts but it only turned out to be the beginning of a big career: He produced a couple number one hits, such as ‘Beetje moe’, ‘HUTS’ and ‘Ewa Ewa’. Also, both his 2019 album “2 Borden, 1 Tafel” and 2020’s “Un4gettable Nights” hit number one on the Dutch album charts.
